All my life I have been surrounded by all kinds of people-people with good habits, bad habits- habits that reflect their personalities. Interacting with them and even with the misfits among them has taught me a lot about the social fabric at large. I was deeply inspired by those interactions.

I started my journey sitting in my living room, at home with natural day light coming in from my window. Taking portrait shoots, I could look through the human psyche, and became acquainted its  quirks  (quirks is "sritot" in Hebrew, which literally means "scratches" too.) I had the most exciting experience exploring the most complex of all – the human inner self.
The portraits were of friends, family members, actors, my classmates, some of whom really suffer from a certain disorder and some pretended to be the person I asked them to be.  At the end the process only eight were chosen to represent my journey.

I have been exposed to most disturbing stories of oddities to which I have become personally attached. The stories were real and touching.  In order to demonstrate and emphasize each oddity, I have exaggeratedly edited the photos.  You cannot ignore them.
The whole process has been amazingly rewarding in term of improving my design techniques as well as exploring my own inner self.
